Terms of use

Simple, transparent terms.

These terms govern your use of TrainWithMCP, the website, and the remote MCP service. By creating an account or connecting an assistant, you agree to use the service responsibly and within the limits described here.

Last updated: September 3, 2026

The service

TrainWithMCP is an independent software project that helps you explore authorized fitness activity data through a compatible AI assistant. The service includes a website, account and Strava connection flow, a read-only activity store, and an authenticated remote MCP endpoint.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, protecting your password and recovery links, and all activity under your account. Do not share access tokens, OAuth links, or account credentials. We may suspend access when needed to protect the service, users, or providers.

Authorized connections

You must have the right to connect the Strava account and AI assistant you authorize. TrainWithMCP requests only the permissions described in the connection flow. The current Strava integration is read-only: it does not publish, edit, delete, or otherwise write activities to Strava.

MCP and AI assistants

The MCP server is a tool interface. When you connect it to ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Claude, or another compatible client, that client may request the tools and data permitted by its authorization flow. Each provider controls its own product, account requirements, availability, logging, and privacy practices. You are responsible for reviewing the provider’s terms before connecting.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for your own authorized data or data you are expressly allowed to access.
  • Do not probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • Do not use the service to make medical, emergency, employment, insurance, or safety-critical decisions.
  • Do not attempt to access another user’s activities, tokens, account, or authorization state.
  • Do not use the MCP endpoint to upload, publish, modify, or delete provider data; the MVP is read-only.

Accuracy and health disclaimer

Activity data comes from third-party providers and may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or incorrect. AI-generated answers can be wrong or omit context. TrainWithMCP is not medical advice, a medical device, a coach, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Verify important information independently and consult a professional for health decisions.

Third-party services

TrainWithMCP depends on services including Cloudflare, Supabase, Strava, optional PostHog analytics, and the AI assistant you choose. Outages, policy changes, plan limits, rate limits, or account restrictions at those services may affect availability. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Availability and changes

The project is provided on an evolving MVP basis. Features, supported clients, data windows, limits, and connection instructions may change. We may suspend or discontinue part of the service, especially when required by security, provider policy, or operational constraints.

Termination and requests

You may stop using the service and revoke Strava access at any time. The current MVP does not provide self-service account deletion; contact the project owner to request deletion of stored TrainWithMCP data. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risks, unlawful use, or material violation of these terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TrainWithMCP is provided without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. The project owner is not responsible for losses arising from third-party provider outages, inaccurate activity data, AI output, unauthorized use of your credentials, or decisions made from the service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Contact and updates

For questions about these terms, email the project owner at acdplol@gmail.com. We may update these terms as the product changes; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.

This document describes the current MVP and is not a substitute for legal advice.
